Design and Practicality
With an exterior design that has been reinterpreted to showcase a contemporary view, the sharp and aggressive details express the sporty specs the 600e features.
Looking inside, the athletic style remains the main focus of the design. With a racing inspired steering wheel and sporty front seats, you’ll be held in place more tightly, which resembles the feeling of being in a racing car. However, unlike an out-and-out racing car, the 600e is adept on longer journeys too, ensuring you remain comfortable on a diverse variety of trips.
Passengers have plenty of headroom in the rear seats and can enjoy the drive comfortably. The boot holds up to 360 litres, which is a good amount compared to some other vehicles in the same category.
Technology and Safety
Equipped with great onboard technology, the 600e has a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen placed high up on the dashboard. This facilitates visual interaction, as the driver won’t have to take their eyes too much off the road to look at it.
Designed to be intuitive to use, the software is responsive, comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto pre-installed which allows seamlessly connectivity to smartphones, and its voice assistant is connected to ChatGPT, providing quick response to commands and questions.
There’s a menu dedicated to performance too, allowing you to access information such as torque split, battery temperature and map timing.
Range and Performance
Equipped with the most advanced electric powertrains produced by Abarth, the 600e has a 175kW motor that produces 236bhp and a 0 to 62mph of 6.2 seconds from resting.
There's also a Scorpionissima variant that was designed and engineered to provide an exhilarating driving experience. Its 207kW motor produces 276bhp and accelerates from 0 to 62mph in an impressive 5.8 seconds.
Both models have front-wheel drive and 254lb ft of instant torque, which gives a good transition from standstill and acceleration, and a rush of adrenaline. The range on both vehicles is 207 miles on a single charge.
Charging
With a battery capacity of 54kWh, the Abarth 600e is a good vehicle for everyday use. The 600e is also equipped with a high performance cooling system, to help keep the temperature under control.
When charged using an ultra-fast 100kW public charger, the battery can go from 20 to 80 percent in 27 minutes. If you choose to charge it at home using a dedicated 7kW wallbox, it’ll take just under eight hours to fully charge from empty.
