Engines and Performance
The Citroën ë-Berlingo has a 100kW electric motor paired with a 40kWh battery, delivering a fully electric driving range of up to 213 miles according to WLTP testing.
This impressive electric range is much higher than the average daily mileage covered by UK motorists, and you can of course top up the range every night at home.
Range can be optimised by using the 'B' mode button on the central console, which increases the amount of energy recovered by the regenerative braking system.
Performance is on par with the petrol and diesel variants of the Berlingo, and drivers will enjoy the instant acceleration provided by the 100kW (134bhp) electric motor.
Being an all-electric model, it comes as no surprise that performance is smooth, quiet, and thanks to its long electric range, even the longest journeys are made enjoyable.
Charging
Charging the ë-Berlingo is a simple and straightforward process that you can undertake at home.
Charging the ë-Berlingo is simple and convenient, whether at home or on the go. The standard-fit 7.4kW on-board charger completes a full charge in 7.5 hours, while the optional 11kW three-phase charger reduces this time to just five hours when using an appropriate Wallbox, which is easily installable at home in most cases.
When you're out and about, the ë-Berlingo’s 100kW rapid charging capability allows you to recharge up to 80 percent in just 30 minutes at public charging stations.
