Introducing the all-new Dacia Spring
Discover the latest offers on a new Dacia Spring, which is the smallest car offered by the Romanian manufacturer, and is all-electric.
Showcasing a quirky interior design and a handsome exterior appearance, the Dacia Spring was created to excel within the urban environment due to its compact nature and eco-friendly powertrain.
Despite the compact proportions, the Spring makes a practical companion for city driving, which is a trait it shares with its larger sibling, the Sandero.
Design and Practicality
Billed as Europe's most affordable Electric car, the Dacia Spring captures the typical neat design language of the Dacia model range, whilst offering a funky compact and affordable vehicle that looks ideal for modern city life and beyond.
As for practicality, the Spring offers five doors as standard and an impressive 308-litre boot, meaning that despite the Spring's compact proportions, it packs a punch in ensuring there's plenty of space for all your bits and bobs.
Technology and Safety
Designed to provide unique connectivity, the 10-inch multimedia system is intuitive to use and comes with several pre-installed applications that allow you to plan ahead or make changes as you go along. You’ll be able to see real time traffic, plan charging remotely and access the driver-assistance systems.
A wireless charging station is provided to accommodate smartphones and other gadgets that may need refilling the battery throughout the day.
With safety as a priority, the Spring is equipped with numerous safety features that provide a peace of mind. Among some of the features you’ll be able to find in this new vehicle are:
- Lane Keeping Assist
- Traffic Sign Recognition
- Emergency Brake System
Engines and Performance
Being fully electric, there's no engine in the Dacia Spring. Instead, it's equipped with an electric motor and battery combination, that offers a Dacia Spring 45 and a Dacia Spring 65.
The 45 offers 44bhp, whilst the 65 offers 64bhp. The Spring is more about economy than performance, and will be able to offer around 190 miles when driving in urban settings, whilst also offering around 137 miles on a combined cycle.
Charging
Charging the new Dacia Spring doesn’t take long. With a maximum power of 48kWh, it takes only 45 minutes to refill the battery from 20 percent to 80 percent.
