Introducing the new Ford E-Transit Courier
Known for its practicality and versatility, the Ford Electric E-Transit Courier is ideal for businesses that require ample cargo space to be driven in urban areas. This new version of the popular Transit Courier was added to Ford’s lineup as a zero emission alternative to the original combustion-powered van.
Even though the new Electric E-Transit Courier is classed as compact, it has a payload capacity of 700kg, and the passenger front seat can be folded down in case you need room to store longer items.
Range and Performance
The Ford E-Transit Courier is an all-electric van, offering a 181-mile range on a full charge, making it ideal for urban deliveries.
This electric vehicle excels in its fully electric setup. It produces 134bhp and the single-speed transmission enhances smooth acceleration going from 0 to 62mph in 9.2 seconds. While it doesn't offer traditional towing abilities like some other models, its compact size and design make it perfect for lighter commercial tasks.
Charging
The Ford Electric E-Transit Courier is equipped with a 51kWh battery, which provides a range of 181 electric miles. It charges to 80 percent in around 23 minutes with a 100kW DC fast charger. Fully charging to 100 percent takes about 5.7 hours with a standard 7.4kW AC charger.
Drivers can charge at home, work, or public charging stations, with access to the BlueOval Charge Network.
