Introducing the all-new Ford Transit Custom
The Ford Transit Custom has gained a distinct reputation for being one of the best vans you can buy. After all, it's Europe's best-selling van, and it's now been enhanced further in this all-new generation.
Available with a familiar diesel engine, which we will focus on below, there's also a fully-electric version of the all-new Transit Custom, in the form of the E-Transit Custom available too.
Design and Practicality
As a functional load carrier, the all-new Ford Transit Custom is the perfect evolution from the excellent lineage gone before it.
Styling has been enhanced and looks a lot more revised over its predecessor, but doesn't go over the top. It's quite simply a fine enhancement of an icon.
In terms of practicality, it's a Transit Custom, so you know it's not going to be short on space. With a load space of 5.8 to 9.0 cubic meters, and a max gross payload of 1,327kg, the all-new Transit Custom offers plenty of practicality to get the job done.
There's also a fantastic 2.8-tonne max towing capacity too.
Technology and Safety
The all-new Transit Custom is your mobile office on the move thanks to a number of tech features, such as Ford SYNC 4 which delivers enhanced connectivity powered by a 5G modem, with features like seamless smartphone connectivity, a crisp 13-inch central touchscreen, and voice recognition also.
An innovating steering wheel tilt ensures you can use your all-new Transit Custom as a desk when parked too.
Delivery Assist also allows you to configure the all-new Transit Custom in terms of parking brake, closing windows, turning on the hazard lights and more.
Safety has also been enhanced, with all-new Transit Custom coming with additional airbags, as well as multiple Advanced Driver Assistance features too.
Engines and Performance
The ICE version of the all-new Ford Transit Custom features a 2.0-litre diesel engine, with either 109bhp, 134bhp or 148bhp when specified with a manual transmission.
There is also a 168bhp version of the 2.0-litre diesel engine, only this time with an automatic transmission.
And for ultimate grip and stability, an all-new AWD version is also available.
This means the all-new Ford Transit Custom is available with varying power and performance levels, ideal for tailoring your perfect specification to cater for you and your business.

This motorsport-inspired design is available as a Panel Van and DCiV (L1 & L2. H1 only) with multiple seating options (Van -2 or 3 seats / DCIV - 5 seats).
