In production between 2009 and 2013, the Nissan Pixo made a strong impression despite being one of Britain's cheapest cars at the time.
Being small and nimble makes the Pixo a great car for those who live in the city. The visibility is good and the steering is light, which is ideal for parking in tight spaces. The only engine available is a 1.0-litre petrol that takes 13.5 seconds to go from 0 to 62mph. Performance isn't strong, but it feels peppy around the town.
The interior is big enough for two adults in the front and a couple of children in the back, who will find it easy to get in because the Pixo is only available with 5-doors. Adults will fit in the back, but we'd only recommend it for shorter journeys. With 129 litres of boot space, completing the weekly food shop will be easy enough. The rear seats fold down to make room for larger items, which is helpful for tip runs.
Tax and insurance are reasonable enough, making the Pixo an inexpensive car to run. Any servicing and maintenance can be completed through Evans Halshaw Nissan.
