Used Nissan NV250

Despite being a smaller van offering from Nissan, the NV250 punches well above its weight with a large cargo area that is robust and versatile. Like many vans, the NV250 is based on another van, which in this case is the Renault Kangoo.

There's three bodystyles available, a regular Panel Van in L1 and L2 lengths and an L2 Crew Cab variant completes the offerings.

This means payloads vary a little, with 650kg for the L1, whilst the L2 is increased to 800kg. The L2 is a little more practical too, with a pair of sliding doors, whilst the L1 has just one.

Economy is excellent, with the van returning up to 64mpg from its 1.5-litre diesel engine, although we'd expect the more accurate figure will be a little lower. Interiors are neat enough with lots of plastic, but they're not hugely offensive in terms of what you'd expect from a van.

If you're after a small and compact van that punches above its weight, the Nissan NV250 is a good bet. Alternatively, why not check out the Renault Kangoo - as they're essentially the same van.
