The sixth-generation Maserati Quattroporte was introduced in 2013, receiving a few updates in 2017 and 2021.
It takes a certain person to want a Maserati over more polished German rivals. The V8 produces a meaty 572bhp, good for 0 to 62mph in 4.5 seconds. There is a V6 too, which is a tad slower at 5.0 seconds to go from 0 to 62mph - but it will be slightly better on fuel. A diesel engine is also available, if you really must.
Interiors are classy and cool, and you feel like you're in something special. Similar to the rest of the Maserati range, the cabin is a nice mix of analogue and digital. You'll find plenty of space too, along with a nice 530-litre boot.
