This electric version stands out with its neat design, uncluttered interior, and all-new high-tech cockpit, just like its internal combustion-engined sibling in the petrol hybrid Frontera.
Like many models in the Vauxhall range, with the Frontera Electric, you get all the Frontera highlights, just in a slightly different package with a 100 percent electric drivetrain, offering near-silent operation, attractive running costs, and a relaxing driving experience.
Range and Performance
The Frontera Electric boasts a 187-mile range on a single charge, making it a practical choice for both urban and longer journeys. Performance is presented via a single electric motor paired with a 44kWh battery. This ensures the Frontera Electric offers 111bhp, allowing a 0 to 62mph acceleration time of 12.1 seconds. However, the Fronter is more about offering a relaxing and comfortable drive for both driver and passengers.
Charging
Charging an electric car is always an important topic. Of course, it will all depend on your chosen method, and what setup you have at home, as many electric cars are simply charged overnight. However, the good thing about the Electric Frontera is the support for 100kW rapid charging, meaning you can replenish the range from 10 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes, minimising downtime.
